The World and this Blog

So, I’m Dylan Eugene Wheeler.

I’m the husband of a lovely woman, Melinda Wheeler, and the father of a wonderful baby boy, Victor, and we’re awaiting another. I’m an Airman of the US Air Force (please see disclaimer below), and I’m very devoted to my career. Correspondingly, however, I don’t plan on settling down right after my retirement. In fact, I plan on studying Social Sciences, with an end goal of a Master’s or Doctorate’s. If life takes me down the right path, I’ll find my way to working in human rights, or perhaps as a researcher for a variety of institutions. Maybe also I’ll make my way to education reform, or perhaps work as an educator myself.

Whichever of these paths I follow after my military career, they all demand an ability to write, to express my beliefs, and to be held accountable to them. Therefore I’ll begin my career early, years early, and publish my thoughts and findings throughout the course of my studies, to receive feedback, critique, opposition, and all the nooks and crannies in between. So please, come and enjoy, engage and converse, and of course, thank you for your time.
